DARLEY PARK

Public BBQ

A well-used sporting precinct built around a good football oval, with netball and tennis courts alongside and new facilities on the way. The playing surface is excellent and the atmosphere on game days is genuinely enjoyable. Parking is easy and close, even towing a trailer or van. Public toilets are always open and kept reasonably clean, and there is a decent little play area for children. It is very dog-friendly, with bag dispensers at several points. A market runs on the first and third Saturdays of the month with bric-a-brac stalls and food vans, and the chicken schnitzel rolls have a following. An IGA, fuel, liquor and a pharmacy sit directly across the road. One gap worth knowing: the picnic area has no barbecues.
